Articles and links

Action Identity has posted a couple of articles about ForgeRock products:

OpenDJ – Cost Effective Directory Solution Stacking ForgeRock OpenIDM up to the competition

Our friends at ProfiQ have posted an article describing how to use OpenDJ with Red-Hat Certificate System.

While talking about using OpenDJ with LDAP enabled applications, we try to maintain a page on OpenDJ documentation wiki with different tutorials on how to configure OpenDJ client applications.

Upcoming Events

ForgeRock will be present at the European Identity and Cloud Conference (EIC), April 17-20 in Munich.

We will also be participating to Devoxx France, April 18 to 20 in Paris. I will be co-speaking on Thursday 19, 7pm about Open Source in France, and will be available for individual meetings from Thursday morning to Friday end of afternoon. So, if you want to discuss about ForgeRock products or job opportunities, send me a mail, or leave a comment.

Ⓕ Drinks With ForgeRock at OSCON

Posted in Events, ForgeRock, OSCON on July 18th, 2011 by Simon Phipps – Comments Off

Will you be in Portland (the one in Oregon in the USA) next week?  ForgeRock would love to meet you during OSCON.  Join us at Kells at 6pm on Thursday July 28th (it’s an easy and free Max ride from the Convention Center and you can easily make it back for the State of the Onion if you need to).  Come to our session on Thursday morning to collect a wrist band for unlimited free drinks!

In case you’re not familiar with ForgeRock, we’re a rapidly-growing startup that’s taking a radical software-freedom-first approach to creating an identity-oriented application platform – SAML, LDAP, provisioning, single-sign-on and much more. The software we’re developing is already mature and is already in use at around 50 of the worlds most interesting  high-scale technologically aggressive companies. At OSCON I’ll be joined by colleagues to explain our philosophy and our software.

Afterwards, maybe some Norwegian music is in order? One of my favourite Norwegian musicians, Thomas Dybdahl, is playing the Doug Fir Lounge at 9pm.

Next week JavaZone, the conference that brought you Lady Java and Java Forever will be held in Norway. To celebrate the opening of the new ForgeRock Norway office, we’ve arranged for a party just before the conference starts, on Tuesday evening. If you are in Oslo and would like to attend, please send an RSVP to the address on the web site.

As part of that, James Gosling and I will be “beaming in” via webcast to give short talks and maybe even answer a few questions. If you’d like to join the webcast (using DimDim), please register on our website.
